Let's connect and support each other! BY YOUR SIDE – Autism Therapy Services is dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals/families on the autism spectrum. We understand that autism is a complex disorder, and effective treatment requires a comprehensive approach specifically designed to meet the needs of the individual, as well as the family. Our multidisciplinary program includes ABA, occupati

onal, and speech-language therapies, along with family services. Our dedicated team has expertise in the four hallmark characteristics of autism: communication, social interactions, maladaptive behaviors, and sensory. We also offer our comprehensive approach in a variety of settings – in-center, in-home, and in the community. BY YOUR SIDE will offer various programming options to address the varying needs of the autism spectrum. The frequency and intensity of the program is unique to each individual and determined by the therapy team, which includes the family as an important member of that team. We will partner with you and the family to determine the most appropriate program for your child.

We love spontaneous echoics!! 🗣️
Spontaneous echoics are when a child repeats words or phrases they’ve heard before on their own, without being directly asked. In ABA, this is a positive sign because it shows they’re learning language and starting to use it independently! ✨

Today, April 2nd, we recognize World Autism Acceptance Day and the beginning of Autism Acceptance Month 💙

A big thank you to one of our amazing families for sharing these thoughtful (and delicious!) cookies with our team to help mark the occasion.

This month is about more than awareness—it’s about acceptance, inclusion, and celebrating the unique strengths and perspectives of individuals on the autism spectrum. It’s also a time to listen, learn, and continue building environments where everyone feels valued and supported.

We’re grateful for moments like these that bring both sweetness and purpose to our day. 💙
