Meet Sidney Cervantes, one of our amazing sonographers here at Northeast OBGYN! 💖 Since joining the team in April 2025, Sidney has been bringing her curiosity, skill, and kindness to every scan she performs. 🩺✨

💬 What she loves most about her job:
“I love making a positive impact on patients’ lives — from showing them their baby’s cute little face for the first time to being the first to help identify what may be causing them issues.” 💕

🎓 Where she studied:
Sidney earned her Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Baptist School of Health Professions.

💡 What inspired her:
“I’ve always been a curious person who loves putting puzzle pieces together — sonography lets me do just that every day!”

“Sonographers are the eyes of the doctor — we’re often the first to see what might be life-changing results for a patient.”

“The ability to see what others can’t — finding meaning in shades of grey.”

Northeast OB GYN Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Srinath Senguttuvan, MD, FACOG, to its team of experienced and compassionate women’s health specialists. Dr. Senguttuvan is now accepting new patients at the Bulverde location and is affiliated with Methodist Stone Oak and Schertz clinics as well.

Dr. Senguttuvan is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with a strong passion for women’s health and preventative care. His clinical interests include both high-risk and low-risk pregnancies, well-woman care, contraception counseling, and advanced robotic-assisted surgeries.

She brings special interest and expertise in obstetrics, gynecological care and surgeries, as well as perimenopausal and menopausal support.

What truly sets Dr. Gaskamp apart is her compassionate, patient-centered approach. She believes in empowering women with knowledge and care tailored to their unique journeys.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Gaskamp enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, going to concerts, traveling, and soaking up life’s little adventures. 🎶✈️☀️

✨ Sonographer Spotlight ✨
Meet one of our incredible sonographers here at NEOBGYN! Valerie Marshall been with us for a little over a year, and in that time, she’s made a big impact through her calm presence, clinical skill, and genuine care for patients.

She studied sonography at St. Philip’s College in San Antonio and was drawn to the field because she always knew she wanted to work in healthcare. Sonography stood out as the perfect fit for both her personality and professional goals. Her favorite part of the job? Making real connections with patients every day!

What many people don’t realize is just how much goes on behind the scenes during an ultrasound. “There are so many diagnostic questions that run through our minds as we scan. We’re constantly thinking through physiology, pathology, and ruling out possibilities to make sure every patient receives the most accurate imaging—and the best possible treatment plan.”

Her superpower at work is staying calm and level-headed under pressure!

When she’s not scanning, you’ll likely find her enjoying a slow morning on her balcony with a cup of coffee (her go-to is a medium iced Caramelo from On The Grind, no whip!), cooking a full breakfast, or spending quality time with her daughters—whether that’s out at a local event or playing board games at home. “They are my happy place.”

🌟 Provider Spotlight: Amaree Terrazas, Nurse Practitioner 🌟

We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our amazing providers: Amaree Terrazas, NP! Her dedication, compassion, and passion for women’s health make her an irreplaceable part of the Northeast OBGYN family.

💡 What inspired her to pursue healthcare?
Amaree’s journey started with her Aunt Lydia, a small-town nurse, along with summers spent volunteering at a children’s hospital in Virginia. That early spark, plus her love of learning, led her to earn her Master’s Degree in Nursing.
“I’ve always wanted to go as far as I can with my personal education,” she says. After working with postpartum moms, she saw the huge need for education around women’s health and knew where she belonged.

❤️ Her favorite part of the job?
“I love to educate my patients! It’s truly my favorite part,” Amaree shares. She strives to uplift every patient she sees:
“If I can change at least one patient’s day for the better, I’ve done my job 🙂”

🐾 How does she unwind?
With snuggles from her fur baby Frazier (her whole world! 🐶), playing piano, or searching for vintage treasures to sell and share with fellow antique lovers.

🎨 If not a Nurse Practitioner…
She’d be an interior decorator or event planner! During the pandemic, she even launched a virtual home design business with clients all over the U.S.

🌍 Fun fact:
She’s almost completed her bucket list - just waiting to see the Northern Lights. “Traveling is good for the soul.”

🎓 Favorite college memory?
Walking the stage to receive her Master’s Degree - a proud moment after years of hard work and happy tears.
