I need everyone to understand this.
Having a high standard is fine. Expecting good things from others is even ok.
Striving for quality is great.
But it is not possible to run “at your best” all the time.

Find a maintainable level of “best”. Then, be pleasantly surprised on those days you can do “better” and offer some grace on those days that feel subpar.
