I am happy to announce that after 15 months and 4 levels of training I have completed the full Mindful Awareness Body-Oriented Therapy (MABT) course and am now offering sessions in my Schuylerville office by appointment. We hear people say "Listen to your body." But how do we do that more? This therapy teaches how and can help us become more aware of the signals our body is sending. Why is that important? Because this is how we begin to resolve the pain and trauma we may be holding in our bodies. It also helps us to notice safety and joy as well. It helps us to feel more regulated and connected internally and in charge of our own responses. Have you heard of somatic therapy? This is it, at it's core.
