Schuylkill Memorial Park

Schuylkill Memorial Park Schuylkill Memorial Park | Grabowski Funeral Home serves Schuylkill County and all surrounding areas

Schuylkill Memorial Park was established in 1945 as the area’s first non-denominational memorial park. The cemetery grew under the management and ownership of Kenneth and Martha Reynolds. With the addition of the funeral home we continue to expand and continually improve the services that we offer. Being family owned, we treat people like family all the time!

ATTENTION:

Flag holders will be removed after November 11, 2025, Veterans Day, for seasonal cleanup. 🇺🇸

Decorations will be removed for winter clean up beginning November 1, 2025. All bronze vases should be set down into the memorial after Veterans Day to avoid cracking of vase by freezing water and to avoid damage to vase or marker during periods of snowfall.

Meet "Arnie" - He isn't just an office pet; he is an intrigral part of our operation and the vast services offered.

Research shows that therapy dogs at funerals aren’t just comforting, they can physiologically help families through grief. Studies on human–animal interaction reveal that simply petting a calm dog lowers blood pressure, decreases cortisol (the stress hormone), and releases oxytocin, the same hormone that builds trust and connection.

At a funeral, emotions run high. Having a therapy dog present offers a grounding point. People who might not feel comfortable talking about their grief often find it easier to let down their guard with a dog beside them. Children process loss more openly, and adults describe the presence of a dog as a reminder that life still holds gentleness even in the hardest moments.
