One of our favorite days of the year! Such a fun time giving back to our Scituate Seniors. Lots of laughs, lots of great food, and lots of great practice carrying dishes!

Come on down to Holidays in the Harbor this Friday (12/5) from 4:00pm to 7:00pm to help us spread joy this holiday season!

Officers from Scituate PD, as well as Scituate Community Christmas, will be collecting new unwrapped toys as a part of our annual toy drive to benefit local children. Scituate Community Christmas will also be accepting monetary donations via cash or Venmo for anyone interested in giving.

Members of the Scituate Police Union MCOP Local 465 love the opportunity to get out in the community and come together to benefit a great cause. Even if you don’t have the means to donate this year, please come down and say hi - we’d love to chat! We’ll also have some sugary treats for the kids.

Police Officer Jonathan Diller was more than a hero. He was a father, a husband, a son. NYC lost a protector, but this family has lost far, far more. We need your prayers and support — for Jonathan’s family and for every still waiting for a hero to come home.

Members of the Scituate Police Department will be participating in the Boston Bruins Foundation BFit Challenge this Sunday, January 28th at the Boston Garden!

This event will be for first responders/ military and everyone in the community to raise awareness around health and wellness of first responders and ultimately raise money for first responder charities. Please join the Boston Bruins Foundation and support this great cause! Last year, the BFit Challenge raised $649,000 for the families of fallen first responders. Even the smallest donation makes a BIG difference. Please note that 100 percent of the money raised goes directly to first responder charities.

The SPD team is fundraising for The Hundred Club of Mass., Inc. The Hundred Club gives an unequivocal and unconditional promise to police officers and firefighters in Massachusetts that in the event they are killed in the line of duty, they will compassionately care for their surviving families for the rest of their lives and never forget their sacrifice.

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day!

We’d like to thank all of the dedicated men & women of the Scituate Police Department for the outstanding job they do each and every day!

Today is dedicated to showing gratitude and support for the brave men and women who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. Law enforcement officers are an integral part of our society, and their contributions are invaluable.

Special thank you to The Ark Church MA for the donuts and water from Donut King to keep our officers fueled up!

The members of the Norwell Police Department are devastated to hear of the tragedy that occurred in Waltham today.

Please keep Officer Tracey, Officer Tracey’s family, friends and colleagues at the Waltham MA Police Department, and the National Grid employee Roderick Jackson and his family, friends and colleagues in your thoughts and prayers.

We are all wishing for a speedy recovery for the injured National Grid employees.
