Get to know one of our long-standing therapists:

Dr. Debra Ferro
LMFT, PhD, ACS, Director of Clinical Training
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Dr. Debra Ferro is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New
Jersey and has been a valued member of the Resolve Community Counseling
Center team for 15 years. With a rich background in both education and clinical
practice, Dr. Ferro brings a unique and comprehensive approach to her work as
Director of Clinical Training.

Dr. Ferro has attained several graduate degrees including a doctorate in
psychology, as well as certification in Active Learning. Along with her full-time
work at Resolve, she teaches psychology courses at Union County College.

Dr. Ferro is certified in dialectical-behavioral therapy. She has facilitated
support groups on children of divorce, social skills for middle schoolers, and
parenting children with special needs.

She carries a large caseload of individuals, families, and children/adolescents,
providing therapeutic services and guidance.

She supervises interns and professionals working toward their licensure,
providing mentorship and training to the next generation of clinicians.

Dr. Ferro’s expertise, extensive experience, and commitment to both clinical
practice and education make her an integral part of the Resolve team. She is
beloved by staff and clients alike.
