❄️ Winter Dry Mouth & Cavities

Cold winter air, indoor heating, and less water intake can all lead to dry mouth this time of year — and that can quietly increase the risk for cavities.

Saliva plays an important role in protecting teeth by washing away bacteria and neutralizing acids. When saliva is reduced, teeth are more vulnerable.

Simple winter tips to protect your smile:
• Sip water throughout the day
• Limit frequent snacking on sugary or sticky foods
• Brush twice daily and floss once a day
• Use a humidifier at night if your home air feels dry

If you’ve noticed increased sensitivity, dryness, or changes in your mouth this winter, let us know. We’re always happy to help keep small concerns from becoming bigger ones.

Stay warm, stay hydrated, and take good care ❄️

The most expensive dentistry is often the dentistry you wait on.

Small concerns don’t usually announce themselves loudly. They start quietly, progress slowly, and then show up when they’re harder to ignore.

Preventive care isn’t about finding problems.
It’s about protecting what’s already working.
If you tend to put yourself last, this is your reminder: your health matters too.

Today we’re celebrating someone who truly brings people together.

Jessica has a gift for creating real connections with patients — the kind built on trust, laughter, and feeling genuinely cared for. She has a way of making people feel comfortable in the chair, often sharing a laugh while still delivering thoughtful, high-quality care and education.

That balance of warmth and professionalism is something special, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re so grateful for the joy, dedication, and heart you bring into our office every day.

Wishing you a year filled with laughter, good health, and all the things that make you smile. 💜🎂

Help us wish Jessica the happiest of birthdays! 🎈

A New Year’s Resolution List from your favorite hometown dental team 🤍

This year, we’re keeping it simple.

If you commit to just these 5 things, your teeth will be in a really good place:

• Replace your toothbrush or brush head
• Drink more water than you think you need
• Don’t ignore bleeding gums
• Wear your nightguard if one was recommended
• Keep up with preventive visits, even when nothing hurts

Preventive care doesn’t have to be complicated to be powerful.

It’s the small, consistent habits that protect your smile for the long run.

Save this for later, your future smile will thank you.

A new year always makes us pause.

Not to rush ahead, but to look back for a moment.

The quiet moments between patients. The conversations in the chair. The trust families place in us, sometimes across generations. The hard days that tested us and the good days that reminded us why we do this work.

This year had its challenges. Every year does. But it was also filled with gratitude. For our patients who show up and believe in us. For our team who gives their best every single day. For a community that continues to support a small hometown practice with a big heart.

The takeaway is simple. Gratitude changes how you move forward.

As we step into this new year, we are carrying that gratitude with us. It is the foundation of everything we do.

Thank you for being part of our story.

Some of the best stories we hear start the same way.

“I remember when Dr. Coppola…”

As we step into a new year, we carry this legacy forward with a lot of gratitude. We honor where we came from, while continuing to care for this community with the same heart that has guided this practice for over 70 years.

If you have a memory of Dr. Sam or Dr. David Coppola, whether it’s from years ago or just recently, we’d love to hear it. A first visit, a kind word, or a moment that stuck with you.

Those stories are what make this place feel like home.

“I know I should go… but life gets busy.”

If that thought has crossed your mind, you’re not alone.

Most people don’t avoid dental cleanings because they don’t care.

They avoid them because of time, fear, uncertainty, or past experiences.

👉 What if something’s wrong?
👉 What if it hurts?
👉 What if I’ve waited too long?
👉 What if I can’t fit it into my schedule?

Here’s the truth:
Routine cleanings aren’t about judgment—they’re about prevention, peace of mind, and staying ahead of problems before they become painful, expensive, or stressful.

For many patients, a regular cleaning every 6 months is ideal.

For others—especially those with gum concerns—more frequent visits can protect long-term health.

The real goal isn’t a number on the calendar.
It’s keeping your smile healthy so it doesn’t demand your attention later.

If you’ve been putting it off, consider this your gentle nudge 🤍

Your future self (and your teeth) will thank you.

📞 Questions? We’re always happy to talk through what’s best for you.

Save this for later or share it with someone who needs the reminder.

A Note from Dr. Coppola’s Team ✨

We’re excited to share that our office is in the process of transitioning to a new computer software system, an upgrade designed to better support our patients and our team for years to come.

With any new technology comes a learning curve. While our team has been training diligently and working hard behind the scenes to make this transition as smooth as possible, there may be moments where things take just a little extra time as we learn and adjust.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this period. A gentle word, a moment of grace, and a little flexibility mean more than you know to our team, many of whom care for you and your family like their own.

Ultimately, this upgrade will allow us to serve you even better, with improved efficiency, communication, and care. Thank you for growing with us, trusting us, and supporting the people behind the screens who show up every day with dedication and heart.

We’re grateful for you. 💙

The holidays are a time to slow down, gather close, and be present with the people who matter most. ❤️

At Dr. Coppola’s Office, caring for families has always started with caring for our own. This Christmas, Dr. Coppola and our team will be taking a little time away from the office to be home with our families—sharing meals, traditions, laughter, and the moments that make this season so meaningful.

We will return briefly between Christmas and New Year’s to care for patients, then step away again for a few days to rest, reflect, and ring in the New Year refreshed and ready to serve you in 2026.

We know peace of mind matters—especially during the holidays. If you experience a dental emergency, please call the office and follow the prompts to leave a message. We’re always here to help.

Thank you for trusting us with your smiles, year after year. From our families to yours, we wish you a season filled with warmth, comfort, and joy. ✨

When Santa himself stops by to wish Doctor Coppola a Merry Christmas and says, “May your smiles be merry and bright,” we take that as the highest compliment. Because dentistry isn’t just about teeth.

It’s about trust.

Comfort.

And caring for people year after year — season after season.

The holidays are busy. Life is full.
But a healthy smile is something that quietly supports every moment in between.

From our office to your family,
🎄 may your smiles be merry, bright, and well cared for — this Christmas and always.

🎄 Holiday advice from your dental office (that actually matters):
Don’t wait for January to care for your smile.

This time of year is full of good intentions—
“I’ll start fresh after the holidays.”
“I’ll deal with it in the new year.”
“I’ll book once things slow down.”

But here’s what we know from years of experience:
🦷 Small issues don’t pause for Christmas.
They quietly grow in the background.

That sensitivity you’ve been ignoring?
That bleeding when you brush?
Those are early signals—and early care is always easier.

The holidays are about comfort, connection, and confidence.
And feeling good about your smile is part of that.

A quick visit now can mean:
✔ Less stress later
✔ Fewer surprises in January
✔ A healthier start to the year ahead

Sometimes the most practical advice is the most loving one:
Don’t put yourself last this season.

🎄 We’re here when you’re ready.
