The month of July we had big celebrations at our distribution centers in Santa Cruz, CA, Watsonville, CA and Wi******er, VA.

At Santa Cruz and Watsonville, they enjoyed music, raffle giveaways, hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, soda and ice cream!

In Wi******er, the employees enjoyed music, raffle giveaways, corn hole, water balloon toss, Dunk-Tank (Dunk-A-Supervisor), hamburgers, hotdogs, mac & cheese, chips, soda, and ice cream!

The employees loved the water-balloon toss, as after the game was over, everyone was having a water balloon fight! Everyone was so thankful and full of smiles! It is so great to show our appreciation to our employees for their hard work and dedication to Threshold. Going above and beyond as our employees do for us!

Our people are passionate about what they do — and they don’t stop giving when the workday is done.

Recently our parent company, Threshold Enterprises sponsored a table at a charity fundraiser for CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates for Children) of Santa Cruz County, an organization of trained volunteers who work 1-on-1 with kids in the dependency care system, advocating for them in court, in school, and in the community.

On hand with other members of the Threshold crew was Franco Tandoi, QA manager and long-time CASA advocate. He says, “Kids go into the court system because they’re neglected, abused, or even worse — my job is to give a voice to the kiddo in court, to listen, and to provide friendship, caring and opportunities … CASA is an awesome organization; they provided me with excellent training … It’s a real good gig.” And you’re a good guy, Franco — thanks for all you do!
