✅ Strategic Planning Workday Success!
Region 1 Behavioral Health Authority recently held a productive strategic planning workday facilitated by our partners at Panhandle Public Health District (PPHD). We’re grateful for their expertise and leadership in guiding meaningful conversation and collaboration.
Strategic planning workdays are designed to help us develop forward‑thinking ideas around:
Emerging emergency and service delivery trends
Regional programming practices that impact access to services, effectiveness of care, and stakeholder engagement
Internal strengths such as staff expertise, processes, partnerships, and data systems
Internal gaps and challenges that limit our ability to consistently measure and improve access, effectiveness, satisfaction, and engagement
We also took a close look at external factors—such as workforce shortages, funding instability, policy changes, and system complexity—that influence how we serve our communities.
All of this work is essential as we build a strong, realistic three‑year plan that will guide Region 1’s goals and priorities and support high‑quality behavioral health services across our region.
Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, insight, and commitment to this important work!
