On March 23rd Misty with Aveanna Hospice came and made homemade waffles for our Residents. She brought all the trimmings to make a great waffle. 3 syrups including maple syrup, blueberries, strawberries, and topped with cool whip. This was a delicious afternoon snack! Our Residents loved them. She'll be here next 4th Monday as always with bingo and great prizes. Thank you Misty and Aveanna.

March 17th was Saint Patricks Day but it was also Ms. Jaxie's birthday. We celebrated with Jena from Hospice of Alabama and Bingo. Jena is also a great Singer and Musician. We enjoyed Hymn Singing in bld. 2. Thank you Jena, and Happy Birthday Ms. Jaxie!

On January 30th the Southern Gospel Singers named Sylvania Sound came and ministered in music and song. The Residents loved it and were blessed. This group took time and effort to come, set up equipment, sing, etc. all after some had worked that day. We want to say a big Shout Out and say Thank you to Bro. Daryl and all. Mr. Phil Storie came by on March 3rd and spoke with the Residents on the Call Caption phone. He explained there was no charge as it was government funded. You only had to have difficulty hearing on the phone to qualify. Several Residents were interested and will be having phone installed soon.
