Big thank you to the Community Homemakers group from Hickory Creek nursing home for graciously making puppy pillows and pads for us to use to make the dogs and cats comfortable during transport and sleep times! Such a nice gesture! ❤️

📢 Important Update from Cradle 📢

Starting Tuesday, October 28th, Cradle will be closed on Tuesdays through the end of the year. This temporary schedule change will help us better serve families during our other open hours.

💙 We know how important it is for families to plan ahead, so please mark your calendars and visit us on our regular open days (except Tuesdays).

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work together to meet the needs of our community!

📢 Important Update from Cradle

Beginning November 1st, Cradle will no longer be accepting TOY donations.

Please note:

Any toys left at our center after this date will either be discarded or donated to Goodwill.

We kindly ask the community to refrain from leaving toys at our doors after the cutoff.

We are so grateful for the generosity our community has shown in the past, and we encourage you to continue supporting Cradle in other ways—such as donating diapers, pull-ups, wipes, formula, hygiene products, or clothing—which are the items most needed by the families we serve.

💙 Thank you for understanding and for helping us focus on the essential needs of our clients and children.

Okay friends, we have some formula that is expiring on the first of December. We would love for it to go to someone in need instead of it being wasted.
We have Similac Neosure and Enfamil Enfacare. These formulas are specific to babies born prematurely. We will not substitute any other formula for these because they are very different and have specific ingredients for preemie babies.
If you know anyone in need, please send them our way. We are open Mon-Thurs 9 am-2 pm.

Great News!
Our Toy Drive Sign up is officially open!
You must sign up in person! Due to our low staff we can not take sign ups over the phone. If you can not make it to Cradle we will be allowing someone to come in and sign up for you. It will be their responsibility to relay to you what date and time they signed you up for. Our hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9am-2pm.
Our drive this year will be held December 5th and 6th, from 9am-2pm. At the Knights of Columbus here in Scottsburg.

Sadly this is will be our last year holding our Toy Drive. We are becoming a diaper bank in 2026 and will need the storage space.

Thank you to United Way of Scott County for your continued support. We are so excited for the opportunity to supply our families with pull-ups again. 🥰

United Way Board President, Tonya Peacock & Executive Director, Ellen Owens presented a check for $5,000.00 to Cradle Family Resource Center- FRC Executive Director, Erin Manton. These funds will be used to help with their urgent need for pull-ups! We appreciate and support CRADLE’s mission of feeding, clothing, and supporting families.
