Why am I floating a board here? Therapists often practice a variety of dexterity tests in DMI to help them improve and fine-tune their handling skills. As a result the therapist can feel and provide the appropriate feedback to a child to achieve optimal results during a functional movement or exercise. Lots of practice with the board allows me safely float kiddos during session!

Big changes don’t happen all at once—they happen because of small steps taken again and again. Each little try adds up, and over time those small efforts create big growth. I have seen this countless times with the kiddos I get to work with.
