When was your last Mammogram screening?

If it’s been a while, speak with your Doctor about scheduling your next screening Mammogram and an added Breast Ultrasound if you have been told you have dense breast tissue.

As always, Arizona Breastnet continues to accept Traditional Medicare for all of your imaging needs. Medicare covers a 3D Mammogram screening once every 12 months.

Medicare will also cover Diagnostic Mammograms and Ultrasounds as well for patients who have a new breast concern such as they feel a lump, notice ni**le discharge or have focal pain and/or swelling in their breast.

Whether it's an annual 3D Screening Mammogram and Ultrasound, a Diagnostic Mammogram and Ultrasound, a breast biopsy or even a Thyroid Ultrasound, Medicare will cover the cost for you!

SEPTEMBER IS THYROID CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Here are some facts:

✨ Women are 3xs more likely to develop thyroid cancer than men
✨ Thyroid cancer is the most rapidly increasing cancer in the United States
✨ Thyroid cancer is typically diagnosed with younger individuals compared to most other adult cancers
✨ Thyroid cancer is the most common endocrine cancer
✨ Symptoms can include: a feeling of a lump in the front of the neck, difficulty speaking or swallowing, pain in the throat or neck, hoarseness in the voice.

Any unusual feeling in the throat or neck should be addressed with your Doctor and request diagnostic Thyroid Ultrasound.

An Ultrasound evaluation of the thyroid gland uses no radiation. It can visualize thyroid nodules that may not be detected on a physical exam, as well as monitor the thyroid gland for any changes that may occur post-treatment.
