Why is that? ⛳️ The golf swing is a full-body movement that relies on proper mobility, stability, and strength working together in a coordinated sequence. Adequate hip and thoracic spine mobility allows a golfer to rotate efficiently, but without core stability and muscular control to manage that motion, the body will compensate—often placing excessive stress on the low back, shoulders, or elbows. Likewise, strength without proper movement control can reduce consistency and increase injury risk. True performance on the course comes from building the capacity to move well, control that movement under load, and transfer force efficiently through the kinetic chain. 🏌️‍♀️⛳️

HERE’S WHY:
Your joints don’t just need range of motion — they need controlled range of motion. Passive flexibility (like stretching) increases how far you can move. Strength training teaches your nervous system how to control that range under load.
If you gain mobility without strength, you create instability.
If you gain strength without mobility, you create compensation.
Your brain will always find a way to complete a movement — even if that means stealing motion from another joint. That’s how low backs, shoulders, and knees get irritated over time.
The goal isn’t just to move more.
It’s to move well, under control, and under load.
Train the range.
Own the range.
Protect the range. 💪
