Tuesday Tips and Tricks!

Focusing on the importance of hydration and how you can increase your water intake for a healthier, more energized you.

Drinking enough water is crucial for maintaining optimal fitness and performance. Water helps regulate body temperature, lubricates joints, and aids in muscle function. Dehydration can lead to fatigue, cramps, and decreased athletic performance. It's recommended to drink water before, during, and after exercise to stay hydrated. The amount of water needed varies depending on factors such as intensity of exercise, duration, and environmental conditions. Staying hydrated can help you reach your fitness goals and feel your best during physical activity.

How to determine the RIGHT amount of protein for YOU!

The amount of protein you need will depend on your age, s*x, weight, activity level, and overall health goals. The general recommendation for adults is to consume at least 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. However, this amount may vary based on individual needs.

Follow these quick steps:

1. Determine your weight in kilograms. You can do this by dividing your weight in pounds by 2.2.

2. Multiply your weight in kilograms by the recommended daily amount of protein, which is 0.8 grams per kilogram for adults. For example, if you weigh 68 kilograms, your calculation would be: 68 kg x 0.8 g/kg = 54.4 grams of protein per day.

3. Adjust your protein intake based on your activity level and health goals. If you're more active or trying to build muscle, you may need more protein to support your body's needs.

4. Consider other factors that may impact your protein needs, such as age, s*x, and overall health status.

It's important to remember that consuming too much protein can also have negative effects on your health, such as kidney damage or weight gain. So, it's important to find a balance and ensure that you're meeting your protein needs while also getting enough of other important nutrients in your diet.

Overall, finding the adequate amount of protein for your body requires a personalized approach based on your unique needs and goals. Consulting with a healthcare professional can help ensure that you're meeting your protein needs in a safe and effective way.

Let me know if this helped you in anyway!

Thiccc-Mas is here! 🎄🏋🏻

That means there’s 31 more “wake ups” until 2021 is over.

Did you accomplish the goals you set back in January?

Think back throughout the last 11 months and take some time to remember all the trials and tribulations you faced.

Also take time to reflect on the positive. Having the attitude of gratitude has been incredibly powerful in my process.

Final Question.

How are you going to use these last 31 days to build up positive momentum for the next 12 months?

“Success isn’t measured by money or power or social rank. Success is measured by your discipline and inner peace.” - Mike Ditka

What is Self Discipline?

“The ability to control one’s feeling and overcome one’s weaknesses; the ability to pursue what one thinks is right despite temptations to abandon it.”
•
•
What does Self Discipline mean to you?

Having self discipline allows one to manage their time more efficiently, helps achieve the goals one’s created and boosts self esteem.

When one exercises strong self discipline it’s makes you a more reliable person.

Self discipline is a component to good habit building and when one starts to exercise discipline in one area of their life, it often exposes other area where the discipline has been lacking.

It’s easy to talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?

What is Discipline?

“The practice of training people (yourself) to obey a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience.”
•
•
Now, what does discipline mean to you?

Without discipline a person wonders through life with no stability or structure. It allows one to manage their time more efficiently, achieve the goals created and boost your self esteem.

By being more disciplined, you become a more reliable person.

When you apply it to one aspect in your life you will begin to see where else you’ve lacked the self discipline.

Let’s get down to business!!🤙🏼
