This week, we’re proud to highlight our Milieu Manager, Luis, whose leadership makes a lasting impact at Via Linda Behavioral Hospital.

Luis doesn’t just supervise — he leads by example. Whether he’s supporting staff on the floor, assisting patients, or stepping in during challenging moments, he’s always present, dependable, and ready to help. He never asks his team to do something he wouldn’t do himself.

What truly sets Luis apart is his dedication to both patients and staff. He fosters a safe, positive environment and brings calm, consistency, and compassion to a role that truly matters.

We’re grateful for your leadership, Luis — thank you for all you do!

As part of our Black History Month recognition, Via Linda Behavioral is sharing impactful quotes every Friday through our overhead announcements. Last Friday, HR Generalist Christina Tytler delivered a powerful message from Frederick Douglass: “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” We’re proud to create moments that inspire reflection, resilience, and continued growth within our hospital community.
