We’re honored to share the plaque created for Abby Rallo’s mural at Via Linda Behavioral. Abby offered a profoundly personal poem—written as a tribute to service, sacrifice, and the human spirit. Her words bring an even deeper layer of meaning to the artwork, and we’re grateful to be able to share them in full below.

Mural Title: And it will rise again...

Mural Description/ Poem:

What the sky did that day, she inhaled...

Her sunrise salute, always faithful.

What the sky saw that day, she mirrored...

Vivid hues of valor. The weeping clouds of courage.

Her emotions disguised as color.

What the sky heard that day, she echoed...

Hushed humming of heroes.

The bittersweet breeze of brotherhood.

History, herstory, transcended as wind.

What the sky did that day, she exhaled...

Her sunset ritual - shared and selfless.

Her last breath singing, "Semper Fidelis".

What the sun did that day, it set...
