🌿 Discover Holistic Paths to Healing Your Mind & Body

Mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all — and a holistic approach can open the door to deeper, more personalized healing. Here are a few powerful therapy options your provider may recommend:

🧘‍♀️ Yoga Therapy
Calm your mind while energizing your body. Through gentle movement and breathwork, yoga helps reduce stress and promote balance — both mentally and physically.

🧘‍♂️ Mindfulness Meditation
Learn to be present. Mindfulness helps you navigate stressful moments and cultivate lasting happiness through focused breathing and awareness.

🎨 Art Therapy
Express what words can’t. Whether painting, drawing, or composing music, art therapy allows safe emotional release and creative self-discovery.

🎵 Music Therapy
Let music heal you. Singing, listening, or creating can ease anxiety and elevate mood — sound truly is medicine for the mind.

🐴 Equine Therapy
Experience the power of connection. Bonding with horses can help process trauma and foster trust, empathy, and inner calm.

🌀 Hypnotherapy
Access deeper healing. Guided hypnosis may uncover buried emotions and open new paths for recovery — best used alongside other therapies.

✨ Healing isn’t linear — it’s holistic. Explore what resonates with your mind, body, and soul.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to three of our newest team members here at Anew! ☀️

With more than a decade of experience collaborating with educational consultants, programs, and families, Tiwi has consistently helped connect individuals in need with appropriate services. Her deep familiarity with the Anew model, combined with her industry expertise, positions her to be an exceptional leader and a strong contributor to the supportive, values-driven culture we have built.

We are thrilled to have her join the team and are confident that her expertise, compassion, and leadership will make a strong impact on our work and our clients.

Carie’s clinical background includes working with adults across a wide range of contexts, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, survivors of interpersonal trauma, people managing chronic health conditions, individuals involved in the justice system, and those seeking support around substance use and mental health concerns. Across these settings, Carie has developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, culturally responsive practice, crisis assessment, de-escalation, su***de prevention, and recovery-oriented support.

We’re grateful to welcome Carie to the team and look forward to the perspective, care, and steadiness she will bring to our therapeutic community.

Kira brings experience from a variety of people-centered roles, including retail, gymnastics coaching, childcare, and group fitness instruction. Through her work as an indoor cycling instructor, Kira developed a passion for creating supportive, motivating environments that foster confidence, resilience, and connection. This work solidified her interest in mental health and supporting individuals through meaningful, everyday interactions.

She plans to continue her professional development in the mental health field, with the long-term goal of returning to school to pursue a career as a therapist.

💡 Psychologists vs. Psychiatrist

Psychologists and psychiatrists may have overlapping responsibilities, but they come from different disciplines. Psychologists use non-medical support and psychotherapy to help treat mental disorders. In contrast, psychiatrists prescribe medications and receive certifications through their schooling and other training to treat mental health problems in other ways.
