Lama Tashi Norbu visits Shanti Sound: April 11 - 18
Lama Tashi Norbu of Tibet will be painting and greeting guests at Shanti Sound from Saturday, April 11th through Saturday, April 18th. Come and see his one of a kind, original paintings for sale and buy something truly special for yourself or a loved one.
Lama Tashi is also a gifted and highly experienced tattoo artist; he will be offering some appointments for Sacred Tibetan tattoos.
Lama Tashi is a master painter of traditional Tibetan art; he began as a child in the monasteries. He then had the privilege of studying abroad in Europe, developing into a versatile contemporary artist; combining the fundamentals of Tibetan Buddhism with education from western art schools. He travels the world exhibiting his artwork while advocating for other Tibetan artists.

Proceeds from artwork sales and sacred tattoos will go to the Bodh Gaya Children’s Center in India, where Lama Tashi assists to save little girls in this poverty-stricken area from begging in the streets and providing the resources for them to attend school.
Donations to the Museum of Tibetan Art and Culture, a 501(c)3 charitable organization are also greatly appreciated by PayPal, Zelle or cash.
AND - on Friday, April 17th at 7pm, Lama Tashi will be co-hosting Immersive Art & Sacred Sound: a night designed to dissolve the boundaries between artist and audience. This isn’t just a performance; it’s a living mandala created in real-time.
