Teaching and giving back has always been a big part of who I am. Being able to share what I’ve learned with the next generation of dentists is something I genuinely love, and opportunities like this are what make the work meaningful beyond the clinic.

Getting to speak, connect, and help students think differently about what’s possible in dentistry is always rewarding. I’m grateful for the chance to pass knowledge forward and support the next wave of dentists as they build their own paths.

This beautiful result was achieved with 12 upper and 12 lower veneers for a patient from Tucson, completing a full smile restoration following older, discolored veneers that no longer supported her smile or comfort. Revision cases require a thoughtful approach, addressing not just appearance, but function, balance, and how the smile integrates with the face as a whole.
Every detail was carefully redesigned, from tooth shape and proportion to surface texture and translucency, allowing the new veneers to reflect light naturally and move seamlessly with the lips and jaw. By restoring both arches together, the smile could be rebuilt in a cohesive, intentional way that feels healthy, youthful, and natural from every angle.

When revision work is done correctly, it can be truly transformative. Replacing outdated veneers with a carefully planned design often restores comfort, improves function, and renews confidence in how someone shows up every day.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this transformation. Let us know what you think in the comments.

At my core, I’m an artist. Dentistry is simply the medium. Every smile I create is shaped with intention, patience, and respect for natural form. I stay closely involved with my lab and the handmade layering process behind each case because true artistry lives in the details, and that’s where natural, lasting smiles are made.

Working with athletes is always inspiring, but getting to collaborate with a standout player like Jarmaine was something special. There’s an energy that only comes from someone who lives and breathes their craft, pushes themselves daily, and still brings genuine kindness off the field.

Moments like this remind me why I love what I do. It’s not just about clinical work, it’s about connecting with incredible people, celebrating hard work, and supporting confidence in every smile we see.

Alina flew in all the way from New York for a smile refresh ✈️

She wanted a brighter, healthier smile that felt natural and highlighted what makes her smile unique. Some old fillings had begun to stain, and a few cavities were forming underneath, so we carefully restored her teeth with porcelain. This not only improved her appearance but also protected her teeth from future wear, chipping, and decay.

This patient had a long history of grinding, and when combined with chronic acid reflux, which is commonly connected to sleep apnea, the result was severe erosion, fractures, and a gradual collapse of his bite. His teeth had lost so much structure that his bite could no longer support normal function. Everyday eating, speaking, and even smiling became reminders of the wear and tear his teeth had endured.

This full-mouth rehabilitation was completed using all-porcelain crowns to rebuild a smile that had been significantly worn down over many years.

With a carefully planned full-mouth reconstruction, we were able to:
→ Rebuild strength and integrity in teeth that had become thin & cracked
→ Restore proper function, allowing him to chew comfortably again
→ Raise the bite and restore lost vertical height from years of wear
→ Position the jaw in a healthier, more ideal alignment for long-term comfort
→ Recreate a more youthful, refreshed smile that matches his facial features and natural proportions

Rehabilitating the entire mouth not only strengthened his teeth, it helped restore confidence, comfort, and overall oral health. This transformation truly turned back the clock, both in appearance and function.

If you’ve been struggling with worn, damaged, or aging teeth, schedule a consultation with Dr. Sluyk and learn how a full-mouth rehabilitation can change your quality of life. Link in bio!

Dream smile, loading... 😮‍💨

This patient completed Invisalign and later tried bonding to fine-tune the gaps in his smile, but the spaces kept reopening, and the bonding began staining and chipping quicker than expected. He wanted an enhanced smile that still looked very natural… and most importantly, something permanent.

With 12 upper porcelain veneers, we were able to close the spaces for good, rebuild worn edges, correct the staining, and brighten his smile while keeping everything completely natural to his facial features. The result is a clean, elevated smile that feels like him, just a more confident version.

If you’ve been thinking about veneers and want a long-term solution that looks natural, now is the perfect time to schedule a consult.

This smile tells a much bigger story than a before and after.
This patient traveled from out of state after living with chronic illness since the age of 15. Over time, her health began to erode her teeth and her confidence. She was told her only option was to have all of her teeth removed.

Instead, I slowed down and looked at what could be saved.
Through a thoughtful restorative approach, I was able to preserve her smile and rebuild it using Essence Natural Veneers. My focus was not just on how her smile looked, but on strength, longevity, and creating a result that still felt like her.

This transformation healed more than teeth. It restored confidence, comfort, and a sense of wholeness that had been taken away over many years.

Cases like this are why I focus on complex and unique restorative work, always prioritizing natural results through my Essence Natural Veneers approach.
