This patient had a long history of grinding, and when combined with chronic acid reflux, which is commonly connected to sleep apnea, the result was severe erosion, fractures, and a gradual collapse of his bite. His teeth had lost so much structure that his bite could no longer support normal function. Everyday eating, speaking, and even smiling became reminders of the wear and tear his teeth had endured.
This full-mouth rehabilitation was completed using all-porcelain crowns to rebuild a smile that had been significantly worn down over many years.
With a carefully planned full-mouth reconstruction, we were able to:
→ Rebuild strength and integrity in teeth that had become thin & cracked
→ Restore proper function, allowing him to chew comfortably again
→ Raise the bite and restore lost vertical height from years of wear
→ Position the jaw in a healthier, more ideal alignment for long-term comfort
→ Recreate a more youthful, refreshed smile that matches his facial features and natural proportions
Rehabilitating the entire mouth not only strengthened his teeth, it helped restore confidence, comfort, and overall oral health. This transformation truly turned back the clock, both in appearance and function.
