🎁 FLEX PT Holiday Food Drive – Help Us Support Scottsdale Families! 🎁

This holiday season we are collecting non-perishable food items to support local families in need through the City of Scottsdale Food Bank Program.

🛒 What to donate:
Please bring unopened, non-perishable food items in their original packaging — such as canned goods, peanut butter, pasta, rice, or boxed meals.

📅 Donation Deadline: Friday, November 21

Every contribution makes a difference and helps spread warmth and kindness in our community this season. ❤️

Happy FLEX PT Friday! We are kicking off National Physical Therapy Month with a new addition to our team. Diane Huff, PT, DPT started part time with us this week and we will be ramping up her hours as we prepare for our busy fall and winter seasons.

Diane received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness from ASU, and went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University. She holds several certifications, including Astym® and LSVT-Big. Some of you may recognize her from working out at Mountainside Fitness or EōS. She was a high-level competitive swimmer at Desert Mountain High School and has a wealth of experience in orthopedics/sports med from her previous time working at Ortho AZ. We are very grateful to have her on board!

🎉 Happy FLEX PT Friday! It’s been a great 3 years having our own suite near Mountainside Fitness at 116th St. and Shea. We’re excited to share that today FLEX has officially renewed its lease! This space has been home to so many amazing patient success stories, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to continue serving the Scottsdale community and surrounding areas right here.

Here’s to many more years of helping our clients move, heal, and thrive! We are extremely grateful for your support!💪

📢 Important Update for Our Physical Therapy Clients

We want to let you know about an important change at our FLEX PT clinic. Beginning 8/25/25, we will no longer be an in-network provider with UnitedHealthcare Commercial or Medicare Advantage plans. Our clients with UnitedHealthcare Medicare Supplemental plans like AARP will not be affected as those are secondary.

➡️ What this means for you:
• You can still receive treatment with us, but visits may be considered out-of-network by UHC insurance.
• Many clients are still able to use their out-of-network benefits or choose to continue with us on a self-pay basis.
• We are happy to provide you with receipts/superbills to submit directly to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Our commitment to providing you with the highest quality, one-on-one physical therapy care has not changed. This decision allows us to spend more time focusing on your recovery and less on insurance restrictions.
