⚠️ Post-Op Complications in Breast Reconstruction ⚠️
 This patient in her 30s underwent a bilateral ni**le-sparing mastectomy with direct-to-implant breast reconstruction.
Unfortunately, due to poor blood flow to the skin after mastectomy, portions of the ni**le and ar**la experienced necrosis. Loss of pigment can occur following complications like this and is part of the healing process.
With time, close monitoring, and treatment, the majority of the tissue was successfully salvaged. She is now very happy with her healed results 🙌

This patient underwent skin-sparing mastectomies with implant-based breast reconstruction following a breast cancer diagnosis. A breast reduction using a WISE pattern incision was incorporated into her reconstruction to improve overall shape, size, and symmetry. To complete her journey, she chose ni**le + ar**la tattooing—adding the final, personal touch to her reconstruction.

She underwent bilateral ni**le-sparing mastectomies with direct-to-implant reconstruction. Although her breasts were larger and ptotic (drooping), placing the ni**les slightly lower than ideal, preserving them was a priority for her.
