This case demonstrates rotation of a smooth implant within a reconstructed breast, resulting in the classic flattened appearance seen when the back of the implant shifts forward.✨ Implant rotation is more likely when the breast pocket is oversized, allowing the implant to “somersault” within the space.

In this procedure, the implant was removed in its upside-down position, the pocket was carefully dissected, and a capsulorrhaphy was performed to tighten and refine the pocket.
This creates the ideal hand-in-glove fit needed to maintain proper implant position and minimize the risk of future displacement or rotation. ✨🩺

✨ Direct-to-Implant Breast Reconstruction ✨

This breast cancer patient chose bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies with direct-to-implant reconstruction — giving her the opportunity to complete treatment and reconstruction in one surgery.

Over time she developed mild scar tissue, but felt confident with her results and chose not to pursue additional procedures.

This patient in her 60s requested an en bloc capsulectomy to remove ruptured implants that were over 40 years old. In cases like this, symptoms such as pain, burning, and discomfort are common. She had more natural tissue on one side than the other, resulting in some asymmetry.❤️

For optimal aesthetic results, we would typically recommend a lift, but we always encourage patients to choose the surgery that feels right for them. She is very happy with her results! 💕

This patient wanted to reduce the projection of her ni***es. We carefully reduced them by about two-thirds of their original size for a more balanced, natural look. 🙌
