"...Sage is one of a kind. When you meet the team that care for your loved one it includes a social worker, Chaplain, CNA and Nurse. They all know each other and truly care about one another, they hug and everything! I knew this was the hospice company I needed. I got a folder provided with all contact info for the team members and I called at all hours, never felt alone or unsupported. They took the stress and strain off me and walked me through the most difficult time of my life. Thank you Sage for becoming part of my family at the end of the day."

Happy World Health Day from Sage Hospice 🌍

World Health Day is recognized each year on April 7th to highlight important global health issues and remind us of the impact health has on every part of our lives. It’s a chance to pause and think about how we care for ourselves and others—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

In hospice, we see every day how important that kind of care is. It’s not just about medical support—it’s about being present, listening and helping people feel comfortable and supported in the moments that matter most. We’re grateful to be part of that for our patients and their families. 🌿

We had a special week leading up to Easter! 🐰💛

Our team members had a lot of fun dressing up as the Easter Bunny while visiting the communities we serve—we brought a little extra joy, shared some laughs and made some sweet memories (and of course enjoy a few treats 😉).

At Sage, we listen, care and serve—and weeks like this are a wonderful reminder of why that matters so much.

Volunteers must be used in day-to-day administrative and/or direct patient care roles that meets the needs of the patient and family/caregivers. Jelena especially made my grandmothers life, she would light up every time she would come into the room or we would tell her she’s coming. She truly is an angel sent here to help people who are ready to pass and their families make all the decisions with comfort measures and what’s best for the patient, we would have been so lost without her. 📚 Education Spotlight | What a Hospice Chaplain Really Does for Families 📚

Many people don’t fully understand how hospice chaplains work with families. Hospice chaplains are more than spiritual guides—sometimes what looks like giving up is actually a new beginning.

✝️ Chaplains provide emotional and spiritual support by listening and creating space for families to share stories, fears and meaningful moments—without pressure or judgment.

✝️ Their role is to be a calm presence during a difficult time, offering encouragement, grief support and optional spiritual care based on each person’s preferences and beliefs..

✝️ Visits may include quiet conversation, legacy storytelling, prayer if requested, or simply sitting with families through some of life’s hardest moments.
