The Cipra Method We are dedicated to bringing the absolute best barre, rebounding and dance cardio classes to the Treasure Valley.

Our Barre classes aren’t quiet sessions filled with determined competitors. You’ll hear terms like “plié” and “relevé,” but you don’t have to have a dance background to be successful – a positive attitude is all we ask! At The Cipra Method, you will find a roomful of positive and inspirational women. The type of women that take Barre classes at The Cipra Method are driven and hard working with a variety of backgrounds, but they are each humble and kind. We firmly believe the importance of having people with a positive attitude in our studio because they constantly challenge and drive us to continue to set the bar higher – and work harder at the barre. If this sounds like the person you are, or the person you want to become, then we welcome you to join our studio!

True true true !!!

Stretching the psoas can be a tricky thing. Even though it is often tight and causing the pelvis to tilt anteriorly, negatively impacting the lower back, in NKT we find it to be neurologically under active. This means it is weak and tight, and should not be stretched, but rather activated/strengthened. Stretching a weak muscle can cause a rebound effect, and actually make it tighter! Here are 2 articles about the psoas. One explains quite well how to stretch it, the other, a blog of mine, makes a different point.
