Access to resources is lacking for these vulnerable patients. We need government support to help with reimbursement to clinicians treating these patients who need more than 5 minutes of a doctor's time per month to get better. We need government support for access to cannabis. Access to cannabis has been shown time and time again (including government-funded research) to decrease opioid overdose deaths. "A generation is being wiped out" the article says. On the one hand, the government is turning it's nose up at a viable treatment (cannabis) and not supporting resources yet and on the other hand is yelling from the podium that it's a crisis. If it's a crisis then...DO SOMETHING MEANINGFUL!!!! The Giving Tree Wellness Center

Yet another study showing the benefits of cannabis on opioid overdose deaths. How much more evidence do we need before we get support from our local and federal government? BlueDoor has been denied loans and insurance coverage solely because we *advise* patients on the use of cannabis. Our elected representatives and those who claim to care about this issue (yes, that's you Donald J. Trump and Governor Doug Ducey, to whom we have provided a binder of research supporting the evidence-based treatment of opioid use disorder with, among other things, cannabis). Our patients are dying. We need you to support our patients and start walking the talk on this issue.
