Shin splints aren’t random.

ice, scrape, stretch, repeat.

But the story usually starts lower.

If the muscles and soft tissue around the foot and ankle aren’t strong enough, they can’t withstand the forces (8–10x bodyweight per stride) experienced when running. The posterior tibia tendon gets yanked on constantly…

Our session focused on a foundational—but often overlooked—piece of the performance puzzle: how movement quality starts from the ground up.⁣ 👣

We took a deep dive into injury risk reduction and movement optimization through the lens of:⁣
⁣
✅ Foot and ankle mechanics for better knee, hip, and low back function⁣
✅ Wrist and hand positioning for improved elbow, shoulder, and upper back movement⁣
✅ Joint positional control to improve force transfer, efficiency, and movement economy⁣
✅ Creating “aha” moments by helping participants feel new sensations and unlock better movement strategies.⁣

It was powerful to watch so many athletes and coaches experience shifts in how they move, how they train, and how they can squeeze more out of every rep.⁣
