Your kid is capable. They just need tools that work with their brain.

Our Executive Function Success Group is a 4-session virtual group designed for high school students and entering college freshmen — helping them build the planning, time management, and self-advocacy skills they need to thrive independently.

And this week, in celebration of Occupational Therapy Month, we’re including a free Basic Sensory Assessment Report with every sign-up. 4 sessions + a sensory assessment report for $199 — available anywhere in the US.
We are super excited about this one! 🔗 Link in bio or DM for more info :)

“L” is for Lactation! This one’s for every neurodivergent parent who felt like you were bad at breastfeeding when really you just didn’t get the support you needed.😔

As a Board Certified Pediatric OT and Certified Lactation Counselor, I see how much is missed when we only focus on the baby’s latch and ignore the parent’s nervous system entirely.

Sensory differences, interoception challenges, PDA, ADHD, autism — these all shape the feeding experience in real, significant ways. And there are SO many ways OT can help. 👇

Swipe through to see what breastfeeding with sensory differences can look & what type of support you deserve to actually get.

💾 Save this if you’re a neurodivergent parent, pregnant, or postpartum — you’ll want to come back to it.

📲 DM me “LACTATION” and I’ll share how we can work together. 🔗 Link in bio for more.

I had road rage this morning. I’m also an OT who works with neurodivergent people on nervous system regulation every day. So yes, I see the irony.

Here is what actually happened this morning. I broke every routine I have before I even got in the car. Broken routines, sensory re-entry after two days off, an unfamiliar role I was nervous for, and a fun day I was already calculating the social cost of.

My nervous system bucket was full before traffic added anything to it.

And that is the thing nobody tells you about ADHD and driving — the biggest risk factor is not inattention. Research shows it is emotional dysregulation. About 70% of adults with ADHD experience it.

Driving is one of the hardest IADLs. It demands attention, executive function, sensory processing, and emotional regulation all at the same time.

Road rage is a nervous system cue. Not a character flaw.

If this sounds familiar, a sensory assessment is a real starting point. Learn more at the link in bio.
