Hi Dr. Rochlin! I want to thank you again for today! I had so much fun and I love my hat so much! I wanted to write to you to tell you that I truly meant the things I said today. I knew I wanted to be a doctor growing up, but once I realized I wanted to become a surgeon, I was very intimidated and scared because no one in my family had reached this territory. I will never forget the lecture you gave me in your office in Gilbert. I replay it in my head when I start having anxious feelings about applying for auditions, Step 2/Level 2 prep, and residency applications. I needed that fire under my ass to be reignited and (like I said today) now I have a bonfire under my ass 😂. You are such an inspiration for me! I can’t wait to be a surgeon like you, a woman like you, and a role model like you. I can’t wait to take on students and (hopefully) inspire them the way you inspired me. Thank you again for inviting me to your home and for embracing me like family. You have been the best preceptor I’ve had and I really hope I have you for a rotation next year. Hopefully, I can make you proud! 🤍

Future surgeons in the making! 🩺✨

Hands-on learning at our suture clinic with Dr. Rochlin and first assist Nela — where precision meets practice. The students rolled up their sleeves and worked on pig skin to master technique, tension, and attention to detail.

There’s something so empowering about watching medical students build confidence stitch by stitch. The next generation of doctors is putting in the work, and we’re so proud to be part of their journey.
