Tool on the playlist today. Why? Because I spent my Friday night after the kids were asleep going down a rabbit hole watching Danny Carey drum videos on YouTube 🤪. It was a good night.

They paired nicely with today’s workout. The goal was work capacity. I might be a little wonky tomorrow with some slight brain fog, but that’s okay. It’s all part of the game.

Here’s a snapshot from the main block.

Complete for 7 rounds. Rest 30 seconds between exercises.

A1 Dumbbell sn**ch 2 reps per arm

90s and early 2000s pop punk is often on shuffle in my workout playlist. Green Day gets skipped the least. Out of all the bands in the genre, blink, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory, etc., they take the cake.

Speaking of medleys, here’s a look at today’s “flush” session. The goal was simple: move some blood, keep the intensity low, and hit a few movements I didn’t get to earlier in the week.

I like to stack my higher-intensity days toward the beginning of the week while I’m fresh. When I come around (see what I did there?), to Friday I’ll plug in circuits like this instead.
