Next week on Thursday, March 26, the City of Scottsdale will share their Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Draft Transition Plan and they would really like your input on accessibility in Scottsdale. Please consider attending to learn more and share your perspectives.
According to the city’s communication - The event includes two public meetings from 11:00AM to 12:30PM and 6:00PM to 7:30PM. Thursday, March 26, at the Granite Reef Senior Center, 1700 N. Granite Reef Road. Presentations will begin at 11:15AM and 6:15PM.
The Scottsdale ADA Transition Plan evaluates the city’s buildings, programs, services, activities and communications for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The resulting plan will identify accessibility barriers and recommend strategies to address them. This is part of the city’s long-term efforts to improve accessibility and reinforce its commitment to compliance with the ADA.
