Explants

Despite their popularity, breast implants have always been under scrutiny for their safety. Many women who’ve undergone the procedure have reported experiencing various symptoms, including fatigue, brain fog, hair loss, joint or muscle pain, rashes, weight changes, anxiety and depression.

This condition is often referred to as breast implant illness. Although the Food and Drug Administration hasn’t officially recognized this diagnosis, its experts have observed that many patients experienced an improvement in their symptoms after implant removal.

Some surgeons believe that breast implant illness is a misconception. But for the past five years, Dr. John M.
