Allied Services is a non-profit provider of comprehensive health and human services, dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, life-changing injuries, and chronic illnesses in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania. At Allied Services, we are proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals behind our Waiver Coordination program. Every day, this dedicated team works tirelessly to help adults across our region remain independent, safe, and supported in their own homes.

Our Waiver Coordinators are compassionate problem-solvers who:
✨ Connect individuals with in-home and community-based services
✨ Coordinate personal care, home modifications, medical equipment, nursing, therapy, respite, and more
✨ Guide individuals and families through the process of finding financial support
✨ Ensure people can maintain employment and avoid unnecessary institutionalization

Their work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is life-changing.
Because of them, thousands of Pennsylvanians can live with dignity, choice, and independence.

🌽💛 Meade Street Gives Back! 💛🌽

Our Employee Committee at Allied Services Meade Street Skilled Nursing Center set out to do something special for our local community this holiday season — and thanks to our amazing staff and visitors, it was a huge success!

We partnered with the Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank, who provided us with official Feed-A-Friend collection barrels. But our team didn’t stop there — our talented employees even created the beautiful cornucopia featured in these photos to help collect donations. It turned out so well that we plan to use it every year!

To make things even more fun, everyone who donated received a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift card. The generosity poured in, and by pickup day we had over 12 boxes filled with food ready to help local families in need.

A heartfelt thank you to all our employees and visitors who contributed. Your kindness truly makes a difference. 💙
