💕Our Valentine dance was a joyous celebration filled with love and laughter! We were excited to crown our Valentine's King and Queen, award Best Smile, and honor our Sweetheart of the Year, each bringing their own special sparkle to the party. ✨
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special. The smiles, music, and love shared truly made it a day to remember. 💕

We’re so excited to honor Norma Centeno, Nursing Assistant as our February employee of the month! Norma joined our team in September of 2023 and has been a Nursing Aide for over 20 years. She is fully engaged towards the care for our residents, has an unparalleled work ethic and works hard for long periods of time, often working double shifts. Norma takes immense pride in giving care to the best of her ability. When asked, Norma told us “There is no better feeling than knowing your work brings comfort, safety and human connection to those who need it the most.” One of her biggest achievements was purchasing her first home to raise her family in. What advice would give to new employees? Prioritize safety, ask questions and to take time to learn the resident’s needs and routines. We are more than delighted to celebrate Norma’s work ethic and how it positively motivates the team. Thank you, Norma!

Meet Deb Culver, a Marywood Heights Certified Nursing Assistant, since 2002! For over 24 years, she has dedicated her career to caring for our residents with dignity and compassion. She continues to raise the bar when it comes to caring for our residents and has become a great mentor, helping the new employees we welcome to the profession. Deb started working at our home when she was in high school! Her career started in dietary and later she transitioned to becoming a CNA. Deb has a certain way she likes her tasks done - she likes them done the correct way! For those choosing this career she offers this advice: Treat the residents as though they were one of your own family members. In Deb’s own words, her favorite part of her role is taking care of the residents and bringing smiles to their faces. Deb has two children and 5 grandchildren for whom she would do anything for: they are her pride and joy. We are delighted to celebrate her dedication to our team. Thank you, Deb!!!
