Sawdust Therapy Family

Sawdust Therapy Family Over 50 years of crafting custom furniture, personalized CNC signs, acrylic ornaments and acrylic awards. From our family to yours,

Alan & Linda Kreifels

Laser cutting & engraving & 3D printing also available. Let our family help you design something to tell your family story! From a small wood bench that I made for our son in 1974, my love for woodworking and building things was born. Through the years we have built countless sheds, 3 garages, more cabinets than I can count, room remodels, house remodels and the one thing that the various projects always had in common, was the smile on the customer/family member/friend’s face when the project was complete. As we got closer to retirement, we began planning for something that would be fun and keep those smiles coming in. 5 years ago, we added a custom shop built CNC machine to our tools and this has opened an entire new avenue of design for us with signs & custom art. The addition of the acrylic display creations, and the recent addition of a laser for wood engraving has opened many opportunities for us. God Bless, and thank you for checking out our information. Let us design something in wood or acrylic to tell your family story!

When it’s not comfortable in the shop, it’s more fun to play inside where it’s warm!

We’re herdin cattle! Well, not exactly as our farmer friends do, but meet the newest members of our herd, Highland Cow Bath & Body Works soap holders, Chocolate & Biege! They are so cute and these are headed for Topeka & Meriden, but we can print one for you - just $20 + shipping.

Hey gang! The 3D printer has been going non stop all month with custom prints, our anniversary, and now prepping for Valentine’s Day!

The Mexican Train Game Center’s continue to ship out during a month that’s normally slow for us.

To our B&BW soap holder peeps, most of the Christmas soap holders that you bought are probably put away by now so don’t leave that soap without a holder! With Valentine’s Day coming up, take a look at the Bow-Heart holders we just printed. Lots of color combinations available so let us know your favorite combo and we will get one printing for you! Just $20 + shipping.

Our daughter sent us a TikTok link, but Linda and I do not have TikTok. So after we figured it out, it was a Chick-fil-A sauce packet holder for your straw when you’re mobile eatin out! We found this file on printables.com, added a little red trim to it and we’re going to toss this one in the Jeep console to give it a try next time we cruise through Chick-fil-A.

Belated Happy New Year! It was great having the family here between Christmas and New Years and when the kids are here they love playing with the machines in the shop. Besides, who can resist “Grandpa can you make this?”

2025 was another blessing from our customers and extended family. We made 3270 different pieces last year and the biggest surprise for us was 85 of our personalized Mexican Train Domino Game Center’s that shipped all over the country. The Bath & Body Works soap holders were coming out of the 3D printer as fast as we could make them. That crazy Grinch was the most popular at 15 of those!

Well I’ve rambled on long enough, but again, thank all of you for a fabulous 2025 and we look forward to serving you in 2026, our 10th year of Sawdust Therapy Family!

All of the shop orders are caught up and time for the old man to relax a little. Our 3D printer is always fun for me to try some new prints with, so we found these 2 on MakerWorld. Being K-State fans, we new somebody would ask if we could do one of those Jayhawks, so we did both and they turned our pretty nice. Now these are NOT full size helmets, but more like the collector size of 7 inches front to back and about 5 inches wide. But wow did they print really cool.

Here are some facts about both and their costs if you want us to print one for you. The Jayhawk utilizes 5 colors and takes 36 hours to print with 765 color changes. The PowerCat utilizes 4 colors and takes 19 hours to print with 275 color changes. So we are asking $50 for the KU JayHawk Helmet & $40 for K-State Wildcat Helmet. And no they will not be ready for Christmas this year!!

Meanwhile, we're ready for next years Sunflower Showdown and EMAW Go Cats!
