Our deepest sympathies are with the Burdulis family as it was our honor to have been able to provide comfort care for Rosemary in her time of need.

🙏🏻Rosemary B. Burdulis, 74, of Plymouth, PA, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 25, 2026, at Allied Hospice Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA, with her family by her side.

Born on January 21, 1952 in Plains, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence P. and Lottie B. (Murawski) Clemons, Sr.

Rosemary was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1969, and earned her Associate Degree in Accounting at Luzerne County Community College.

She was employed as an examiner at Leslie Fay and later as a loan processor at Navient until her retirement in 2020.

Her grandchildren and family were the center of her world and her greatest joy. She loved nothing more than a full house, where everyone gathered close, sharing meals and laughter around the kitchen table. She always said, Nana’s kitchen is open 24 hours. She had a caring heart and made it her mission to ensure everyone felt welcomed, comfortable, and loved. She never missed her grandchildren’s sporting events as she was there #1 biggest fan!

She found peace in the simple moments – spending hours on the deck and porch. She loved her conversations with her best friend, Diana. She adored her dog, Lucy, and treasured their daily walks through the alley, as well as taking Pop and Lucy for their car rides, often with a stop for ice cream along the way.

She enjoyed watching her favorite shows, The Voice, Judge Judy, and General Hospital, but her most cherished times were spent with her granddaughter, especially listening to her read the Bible after school and sharing meaningful conversations about faith. She was a woman of deep faith, hope, and love, and a loyal friend to anyone in need of one.

Serving others was at the heart of who she was, a calling she carried faithfully throughout her life. She enjoyed lifes simple pleasures – a Dairy Queen banana split, a cupcake at the kitchen table, or a quiet moment spent with those she loved.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Shamsedeen, Mary Kate, Dr. Lee, and the nurses of Allied Hospice for their compassionate and comforting care.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Joan, Ann and Constance Clemons, brothers Matthew and Lawrence Clemons, Jr, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elizabeth and John Gurval.

Surviving is her husband Thomas Burdulis, Plymouth, daughters Linda Kurkoski and her husband Daryl, Plymouth, and Brenda Doroskewicz and her husband Steve, Pringle, grandchildren Jen and Derek Kurkoski and Stephen Doroskewicz and his wife Kelly, sisters Catherine Olowiany, Courtdale, and Christine Kasper, Dallas, nieces, nephews, and great niece and nephew.
