Our friends in the CSD department and the Marywood NSSLHA Chapter are hosting a virtual Valentine’s card drive for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and everyone is invited to participate, students, staff, family, and friends included!

🎯 Goal: 150 virtual Valentine’s cards
❤️ Why it matters: A few kind words can make a BIG difference in a child’s day!

✨ Bonus love:
If the goal is reached, $150 will be donated to St. Jude’s and the cohort that sends the most cards will win a surprise!

📸 After submitting your card, please send a screenshot of your confirmation (and your cohort, if applicable) to bdburns@m.marywood.edu so cards can be counted.

We’re doing something special (and a little competitive!) as a NSSLHA Chapter! But, EVERYONE is welcomed to join our efforts!!

We’re having a friendly competition between cohorts to see who can send the most virtual Valentine’s cards to patients at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Our overall club goal is 150 cards!

Incentives:
If we reach our goal of 150 cards, Ms. Novak will donate $150 to St. Jude’s AND the cohort that sends the most cards will receive a surprise prize.

After you complete a card, please email Bethany Burns (bdburns@m.marywood.edu) a screenshot showing your submission and include your cohort in the message, so she can keep track. If you are a friend, family member or community member, still send us a screenshot as we would love to know how many cards were sent!

Ms. Novak, who was the 2024–2025 recipient of the NSSLHA Advisor Continued Commitment Award, recently moderated a discussion room at the January 2026 NSSLHA Advisor Meeting. Topics discussed included community service, advocacy activities, recruitment, and fundraising. Many NSSLHA – Marywood Chapter activities were discussed.
