-Transgender folks do not owe anyone “outness”
-Transgender folks are valid in their existence just as they are
-If a transgender individual has shared their gender identity with you, this is NOT an opportunity to “out” them. Please uphold the trust that they have instilled in you.

There are many reasons why someone may choose to disclose or not disclose their gender identity, and they do not owe anyone an explanation for that. Wishing you all a celebratory and affirming Transgender Day of Visibility! 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵
