About the Position as an EMT-B:
Healthsource Medical Response is a growing EMS ambulance company looking for skilled individuals to aid and assist in patient care and transportation. Our number one goal is to give efficient and patients-focused care that exceeds the industry standard. We are care-focused company therefore we seek care-focused team members. We handle a variety of calls from non-emergency to critical care. We have monthly training to ensure that we are knowledgeable and equipt for each call. Requirements:
We are looking for a skilled EMT Basic whose passion is patient care. This individual must have a sincere heart for helping people and be willing to keep the patient's needs as priority.
On the job professionalism is mandatory. This is a high pressure line of work that can be quite challenging emotionally therefore, the applicant must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Applicant must be detail-oriented and possess good judgment. Paying attention to details and picking up on details is critical and can put patients and team members in critical positions. We seek a team member who can make good judgement calls under pressure and on the spot.
Applicant must possess appropriate ethical judgement and behavior at all times.
Applicant must be team-oriented and flexible. We believe that a team is as strong as its weakest link therefore we are seeking EMT-B who can make decisions that will move the team forward. The shifts can require long hours depending on incoming critical calls requiring emergency response.
Applicant must exhibit a sound working knowledge of industry standard medical aid and care services requirements.
Must be able to lift 30lbs
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
1 year experience as an EMT-B
National and/or State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic determined by appropriate state requirements.
Current CPR certification as established by the American Heart Association.
Current and valid state-issued driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Applicant must possess ability to assess patient condition to submit in reports by the end of every shift.
Must be knowledgeable of company protocols and standard, operating procedures, and safety policies.
Must exhibit the ability to responsibly drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions.
Call types include ALS, BLS, and MICU.
Schedules:
Monday through Friday
Overnight
Weekends
10 Hour Shifts and 12 Hour Shifts
24 - 48 Hour Shifts
