Happy Halloween from all of us at Kidz Kan! 🎃

Please be patient and accepting of all children who arrive at your door to Trick or Treat as some of these children struggle with hidden challenges. Here are a few friendly reminders as you pass out candy tonight:

•The child who is grabbing more than one piece of candy may have poor fine motor skills.
•The child who takes forever to pick out 1 piece of candy may have motor planning issues.
•The child who does not say, "Trick-or-treat," or "Thank you!" may be shy, non-verbal, or selectively mute for reasons other than poor manners.
•The child you cannot understand may struggle with developmental apraxia of speech or have other speech challenges.
•The child who isn't wearing a costume may have a sensory issue such as Sensory Processing Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

So blessed to celebrate this selfless soul on National Boss Day. Multi-tasking at its best, she runs the business, takes care of her employees, and treats the whole child, all the while taking out the trash and sweeping the floor between sessions. She does it all and does it so well. We learn so much from her continuous dedication to God, family, employees, and clients. You’re a jolly good fellow, Kelley Lewis, and we love you dearly. Enjoy a new pair of running shoes to keep up the pace!

We’re thrilled to announce that we have opened a pediatric therapy clinic located at 1006 E Lincoln Ave, next to Garage Door Services. God has opened many doors for us since the journey began, and we give all glory to Him!
