Can even a spectacular Christmas gift heal years of exposure to trauma in the life of a foster child? Nope
Can Christmas gifts remove all residue from pain and heartbreak of separation between a child and a parent during the Holidays? Negative
BUT Can they provide a bridge to a healthy connection? YES
Do they speak their own language of worthiness and value to a hurting child? YES
No Christmas gift will permanently remove the hurt and damage from what brought a child into foster care, but a child who feels valued can begin to seek healing, and begin to bond with positive, healthy relationships.

Please bring an unwrapped gift by our clinic for our foster child toy drive. These children are 0-18 years old and often times the older ones get left out. They love blankets, makeup kits, sports equipment, board games for older kids, and camping gear. Thank you in advance for helping us with our community outreach projects. We are all very blessed, and want to share with those less fortunate this time of year! Happy Holidays!!!
