THE VEIL IS THIN …
WHEN WE "ASK, SEEK, & KNOCK" ...
I think about Family History research like reading a book, you see that there are words written on one side of a page. When you are finished reading one side, you will flip the page over and see that there are more words on the other side of the page. Even though both sides of a page contain words, each side of the page is seemingly separate from the other.
But wait, what if you were to hold a page up to a light. What would happen?
You would see that the illumination would reveal all the words on the front and back side of the paper intertwining with each other at the same time.
You can say that we are on one side of the page in this physical life and our ancestors are on the other side of the page living their spirit life, with both sides coexisting on the same piece of paper—one side Earth, the other side Heaven.
And by the light of God's love, illuminating our minds, through asking, seeking, and knocking, those on the other side in the spirit world are able to experience our longings to find them and connect them to our Family Tree. They will help us with our research, when we take the time to remember and love them and listen to the prompting and feelings.
Russell M. Nelson quoted in 2009 ...
"Even more amazing than modern technology is our opportunity to access information directly from heaven, without hardware, software, or monthly service fees. It is one of the most marvelous gifts the Lord has offered to mortals. It is His generous invitation to “ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
Let us not give up on our research to find our Family's. They Love You! ... more than you know.
