Lip Filler Transparency

This patient and I talked at length about how many lip filler before and afters don’t reflect the true final result. She brought in several examples of what she *didn’t* want and every single one was a photo of freshly injected lips.

Immediate post treatment photos can be misleading. And yes, we’ve shared those images too. Swelling, post treatment flush, and ultra defined borders are all temporary. Swelling looks different for everyone and can take up to a week to fully settle.

She couldn’t emphasize “understated” enough, and that’s exactly what we planned for. Lip filler goals are deeply personal. So grateful she’s sharing her journey to add more transparency to one of our most requested treatments!

Two years in the making 🥲✨

She came to us having only done Botox, and this is the proof that neurotoxin alone isn’t going to fix everything.

Over the past two years we’ve built a true skin and collagen plan: Morpheus8 face & neck, IPL and coolpeel CO2 by , In additional to Sculptra, and tiny touch of filler in the right places (I bet you couldn’t guess where!)
lux now does her Botox less frequently because of the consistency of her skincare treatments.

This year is all about low key treatments, facials, and keeping her results looking fresh without overdoing it.
