In any situation we have a choice. We can choose to feel like a victim of cosmic abuse and look for something or someone to blame. Have a pity party for ourselves. Or we can choose to take our power back from the external circumstance and move forward from a place of creativity and self-compassion. There is a big difference between self-pity and self-compassion. The first one keeps you stuck in a loop of pain. The latter helps you process the pain and move forward from a place of strength, choice, and power!
