A nice study in Cell Reports Medicine (January, 2023) compares three breathing techniques with mindfulness meditation to see what works best to relieve *acute* stress response. This is critical information for women's self-care, as increased feelings of anxiety often correlate with normal biological transitions such as adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, premenstrual stage of the cycle, and perimenopause.
