The AAP’s vaccine schedule is designed to prepare your child’s body to resist contagious diseases as early and fully as possible, and sometimes that means getting several vaccinations during a single well visit. These vaccination recommendations have been developed to keep your child healthy and active and give their immune systems the strongest resistance to preventable diseases.
