Regulus Counseling

Regulus Counseling A private mental health clinic, serving western Washington, also offering tele-therapy. We hope to embark on that journey with you.

Our clinicians specialize in working with First Responders, Veterans, individuals healing from PTSD and trauma, and individuals with organizational/work stress. Regulus Counseling is a private mental health clinic, serving western Washington, also offering tele-therapy to clients residing in Colorado, Utah, and Florida. Our team of clinicians specialize in guiding clients in their journey into healing from PTSD and other traumas, including helping First Responders and Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) navigate the unique stresses, pressures, and experiences associated with their career, while balancing their family lives; guiding individuals experiencing life or work stresses, in search of transformative change or re-energizing; exploring with new- and first-generation Americans in their journey of the new route in their lives. The common thread among these diverse communities: individuals embarking on their journey towards overall wellness. . In response to the unprecedented health phenomenon, our clinicians are also specialized in tele-therapy— holding sessions through a secure, confidential, HIPAA-compliant platform. Since the beginning of navigation, sailors would use the stars to guide their path during their expeditions. Within Leo the Lion, one of the oldest constellations, lies Regulus, the bright, blue star which marks the lion’s heart, as the lion’s guiding light. Regulus is also known to usher in the Spring season: the season of new beginnings. We believe counseling is a journey: when each person takes the first step in seeking counseling, he or she embarks on an individualistic expedition towards overall wellness. Like the stars— like Regulus— we are your guide in navigating your path in exploration, self-discovery, and healing, harnessing each person’s strength and courage towards personal growth; strength and courage: that of the heart of a lion. We welcome, and are dedicated in helping all individuals embarking on their journey into a new beginning. Our clinicians are licensed in the following states: Washington, Colorado, Utah, and Florida.

‘Punch’

I have painted this little monkey with his Ikea mum - replacing his concrete enclosure for somewhere lush and green.
Zoos that exist purely for profit and entertainment are a something I absolutely do not agree with.

I couldn’t resist painting him though and it’s I heartwarming to see the little chap has been getting some cuddles from other members of the troop. ❤️

Our pets are cherished members of our family, and saying goodbye can be excruciating.

A nice story to start our week.

In a Georgia city, customers will wait an extra 30 minutes to visit one particular checkout line. One cashier has been the reason for 10 years.

Not sure I’ve ever needed something more in all my days, I demand satisfaction

"A magical, musical elixir." It's not the big gestures; it's the consistency in the way we show care.

"Bringing the best of you with me." We think this is the sentiment when we move with-- in grief.

"Bringing the best of you with me." We think this is the sentiment when we move with-- in grief.

I want to smile again, without feeling guilty.
I want to miss you, without coming undone.
I want to celebrate your life,
without my heart breaking.

If there’s a good side of grief, I’ve yet to reach it.
It’s not getting any easier.
Time isn’t helping.
Some days I feel as if the pain deepens.
The roads ahead seem longer without you
walking them beside me.
It’s like I’m resistant to joy.
Pushing back against my own happiness.
I’m afraid that healing means forgetting,
and I’m not ready to leave.
Let me sit here for a little while longer.
There are things I needed to tell you
that I never got the chance to.
Things you deserved to hear....
I’m sorry.
I’m sorry for not doing more.
If it was possible to bear your pain,
I would have.
Even when distant,
my world was better because you were in it.
I was always proud of you.
My love for you is constant,
unconditional, eternal.
There are pieces of you I’m discovering in me.
Little gifts you unknowingly left behind.
Even your absence is filled with moments worth revisiting.
Maybe instead of learning how to live without you,
I’ll just bring the best of you with me.
Maybe we're not meant to move on,
we're meant to move with.
