Regulus Counseling is a private mental health clinic, serving western Washington, also offering tele-therapy to clients residing in Colorado, Utah, and Florida. Our team of clinicians specialize in guiding clients in their journey into hea

ling from PTSD and other traumas, including helping First Responders and Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) navigate the unique stresses, pressures, and experiences associated with their career, while balancing their family lives; guiding individuals experiencing life or work stresses, in search of transformative change or re-energizing; exploring with new- and first-generation Americans in their journey of the new route in their lives. The common thread among these diverse communities: individuals embarking on their journey towards overall wellness. . In response to the unprecedented health phenomenon, our clinicians are also specialized in tele-therapy— holding sessions through a secure, confidential, HIPAA-compliant platform. Since the beginning of navigation, sailors would use the stars to guide their path during their expeditions. Within Leo the Lion, one of the oldest constellations, lies Regulus, the bright, blue star which marks the lion’s heart, as the lion’s guiding light. Regulus is also known to usher in the Spring season: the season of new beginnings. We believe counseling is a journey: when each person takes the first step in seeking counseling, he or she embarks on an individualistic expedition towards overall wellness. Like the stars— like Regulus— we are your guide in navigating your path in exploration, self-discovery, and healing, harnessing each person’s strength and courage towards personal growth; strength and courage: that of the heart of a lion. We welcome, and are dedicated in helping all individuals embarking on their journey into a new beginning. Our clinicians are licensed in the following states: Washington, Colorado, Utah, and Florida.

So... Nomi doesn't want its AI to "break character" to recommend a vulnerable individual to reach out for help to prevent them from committing su***de. Nomi "hopes" AI will make the right decision in guiding a vulnerable individual? WTF?

Please take the time to watch this segment about the dangers of AI. AI will never replace the knowledge, compassion, and decision-making of a real person.

It's okay to slow down.

Is living too fast turning your life into a blur? Catch your breath by trying out these calming traditions from other countries and cultures, says writer Carl Honoré.

"We get to care for those who cannot speak for themselves. But we also see what happens when they aren’t cared for the way they deserve—and sometimes, we can’t fix it. That stays with us."

The rest of us would have been terminated if we were not doing our jobs. Congress's job is to check and balance the executive branch, as is the Supreme Court's.

During ICE's occupation of Minnesota, federal agents took Oudone Lothraith — a Laotian man battling cancer — from his home and forced him into a detention center in Texas for 10 days. He missed many chemotherapy sessions and received no medical care, causing his cancer to spread and his chances of survival to plummet.

Lothirath is now in hospice care to prepare for the end of his life — but because of Trump's cruel, anti-immigrant agenda, he is also at risk of deportation.

Lothirath is one of the over 1.2 million Southeast Asian refugees that were welcomed by the U.S. between 1975 and 2008. After fleeing genocide and violence tied to U.S. military interventions in their home countries, they were resettled in the U.S. so they could have a fresh start. But today, their lives are at risk again as Trump aggressively targets them for deportation.

More than 2,000 Southeast Asian refugees were already deported since Trump's return to the White House, we can't afford any more. Join us by calling on Congress to support the Southeast Asian Deportation Relief Act which will help ensure refugees like Lothirath can stay in the U.S. where they belong.

Grief is a response to loss.

Some people believe that only the loss of a loved one should trigger a grief response but we now know that grief is not a response to death but to loss, of all kinds, and ought to be honored.
