📣 Your CONSTIPATION is contributing to your BLOAT 📣

I see so many women making the mistake of doing low-FODMAP diets, sibo testing, and parasite cleanses while trying to heal their bloat…

👉🏻 Without realizing that their slow motility and constipation is the *reason* they’re bloated! 🤰🏻

With so many of my bloated and constipated clients the moment we fix their constipation GUESS what happens to their bloat ⤵️

It’s GONE! 😱

If you’re backed up, you can pretty much guarantee you’re going to be bloated. Stool sitting in your intestines ferments and creates more gas, thus making you bloated 👎🏻

This is why I start with working on motility with every single one of bloated and constipated my clients (motility is how quickly or slowly food is moving through your digestive tract).

So, if you’re struggling with bloat, make sure that you fix your motility first. If you’re still bloated after that, then that warrants a deeper investigation (usually I run a functional stool test with my clients to identify exactly what’s happening in the microbiome if this is the case).

Is ALCOHOL making you bloated? 🍷 Maybe!

I’ve found alcohol is a big trigger for many of my clients who struggle with chronic bloat 🤰🏻

If you’re “doing all the things” to heal your gut, but you’re still drinking alcohol and you’re still struggling with bloat, I highly recommend taking a closer look at your drinking patterns and seeing if you identify a pattern.

I can’t even tell you how many women have come to me after they go to their doctor (or another nutritionist) who put them on a low-FODMAP diet for their bloat…

👉🏻 On a super restrictive diet of “safe” foods.
👉🏻 Terrified of adding foods back in.
👉🏻 Still dealing with uncomfortable bloat.
👉🏻 Frustrated they haven’t gotten answers yet.

Here’s the thing that most people realize - the food isn’t actually the PROBLEM.

Your gut *should* be able to handle essentially whatever you throw its way (within reason) without making you feel 5 months pregnant 🤰🏻
