🌿More about Jill 🌿
Jill is a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, yoga teacher, and Kripalu Outdoor Mindfulness Guide who believes in the power of movement as medicine, strength training as we age, and nature as a wise and steady healer.
Her path into the wellness world was sparked by a solo 100-mile backpacking trip around Mt. Rainier—a transformative journey that inspired her to shift careers and become a yoga teacher. Over time, she recognized a need for deeper anatomical understanding and pursued Pilates training to better support functional movement and long-term strength.
With a professional background in education from kindergarten through the university level, Jill brings curiosity, patience, and clarity to her teaching. She’s passionate about helping people of all fitness levels build strength, mobility, and resilience—so they can continue to do what they love, both indoors and out, at every stage of life.
Her internationally trained background in nature-based mindfulness and sound healing informs her Pilates teaching, offering students a calm, embodied experience that supports both the nervous system and the body’s capacity to adapt, heal, and grow stronger. Since 2019, she has also led seasonal nature and sound meditations on the beaches of West Seattle, blending movement, stillness, and sound in connection with the rhythms of the natural world.
