Some words from Aubrey:
Spring is hereāone of my favorite seasons to witness. It arrived a little early, and then Mother Nature reminded us sheās still in charge, bringing back a touch of winter. Iām grateful for the snowy mountain caps on the horizon to marvel at. The earth needs a good drink of water for the summer months ahead.
How about you? What do you need to nourish yourself through spring and into summer?
This past month, Iāve been cleansing and resettingāmore sleep, Peloton rides, relaxing face yoga, and long walks in nature with my dogs. I realized I needed a healthy reboot after two months of constant travel, parties, financial stress, and the general state of the world.
Each morning, Iāve been asking myself: What do I want? What do I need in this moment?
The truth is, life is up and down and all aroundāuncertain, much like nature itself. One day feels sunny and warm, the next you wake up to snow on the ground.
While I wonāt get into politics, I do want to acknowledge that the current climate feels volatile, relentless, and at times unsettling. Itās something that impacts all of us. I wish it were different. I want a world that feels safe and nourishing for everyone.
There is so much we donāt have control over. But the one thing we do have control over is ourselvesāour choices, our actions, how we show up.
So Iām tending to myself. My health. My creativity. Making little urban alley flower bouquets, drinking tea, and spending time with the people I love.
I care about you. Thatās why I teach. Thatās why I create space for joy, so I can share it with you.
Iām taking care of myself so I can continue taking care of others.
Ā
And maybe this is what a kind of āspring cleaningā really looks like, not perfection, not doing more, but tending.
Tending to your body.āØTending to your energy.āØTending to whatās asking for your attention.
At Limber Yoga, this season is an invitation to support that kind of care from the inside out.
Our upcoming offerings are rooted in this idea of a Self-Care Spring Cleanāa chance to clear out whatās been building up, reconnect with yourself, and create space for how you want to feel moving into summer.
