As the only not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in the fun and vibrant West Seattle neighborhood, our only priorities are our residents’ comfort, security and care. Our revenue is used to enrich the lives of the people who live here, not to pay investors. And, we have a better staff-to-resident ratio than most for-profit retirement communities.

For all the lives touched by Alzheimer’s, and for the cure we all hope to witness, staff members (and a few partners) were privileged to join in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the iconic Seattle Center. It was a beautiful, touching experience and we're already gearing up for next year's walk. Can't wait for y'all to join us!

Sometimes four heads are better than one... at least when it comes to putting together a puzzle. Everyone has their own method, and there might be a few friendly squabbles, but Pam, Carolyn, Marilynn, and Lu would probably agree that working together is never a bad idea. You got this ladies!

You already know that The Kenney is a stellar place for senior humans to live, but are you aware that we also provide top-notch habitats for senior clocks? That's right: as of last week, we now have 4... count 'em...FOUR Grandfather Clocks residing here on campus. Our latest addition to the fam came to us courtesy of a very generous neighbor, who had apparently heard of our reputation as a safe haven for elderly timepieces. Come by and say hello!
