As the only not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in the fun and vibrant West Seattle neighborhood, our only priorities are our residents’ comfort, security and care. Our revenue is used to enrich the lives of the people who live here, not to pay investors. And, we have a better staff-to-resident ratio than most for-profit retirement communities.

When we talk about being family here at The Kenney we're not kidding. When Mollie lost one of the tennis balls that helps keep her moving in the right direction, she knew exactly who to call. Sure enough... within minutes Jim was there, tennis balls at the ready and Mollie was soon ready to roll. We're so grateful for residents who care about each other and are always willing to help!

Why would you want to come to our Open House?

a) I'm thinking about downsizing and I don't know where to begin.

b) I don't quite understand the different levels of senior living as they relate to my needs.

c) My parents need help trying to figure out their next move.

d) I really love historic buildings.

e) All of the above 😊

Our hard working crew at The Kenney enjoyed some well deserved holiday fun last week. Along with a delicious lunch courtesy of our friends at local favorite Husky Deli, we also engaged in a little friendly competition, and were treated to a lovely bonus from our very generous residents.

For all the lives touched by Alzheimer’s, and for the cure we all hope to witness, staff members (and a few partners) were privileged to join in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the iconic Seattle Center. It was a beautiful, touching experience and we're already gearing up for next year's walk. Can't wait for y'all to join us!
